October kept things busy both in and out of the workshop — from precise cuts and custom builds to a well-earned win at the Tussle of the Trades charity football match. Here’s a look at what the month brought.
A painful reminder that when the calendar’s full, your own workbench project doesn’t stand a chance.
On the bright side, we now have coffee-making facilities at HQ, small wins.
Wrapped up Project Norbury Road.
Spent too many early mornings at Champion Timber picking up supplies.
Canva’s monthly subscription was worth it, with a record number of estimates and invoices flying out.
Built a media unit that’s definitely up there with our favourites.
Started on the cut lists for November’s projects, with some great ones lined up.
We managed to squeeze in a golf tournament before Ollie set off on his travels.
Built so many carcases, even the tape measures had enough.
Wrapped up the month with the Tussle of the Trades charity football match – great cause, great company, and somehow I limped away with a hat-trick as our team took the win 10–4!
Let me know which one’s your favourite?
