Come behind the build
The story behind the carpentry
Our lovely client Sue had just moved into her new build home on Norbury Road in Reigate, Surrey. With no storage in place and a completely blank canvas to work with, every room needed carefully designed furniture to make the space functional, maximise storage, and bring character into the home.
She asked New Heights Carpentry to design, build and install a full range of bespoke pieces that would bring those ideas to life. From the initial design through to installation, we worked closely with Sue to ensure every detail suited her lifestyle and style preferences. The result is furniture that not only fits the space perfectly but also feels right for her home.

The finishing details
All of the decoration throughout the home was carried out by our trusted decorator. Each piece of furniture was finished in shades of grey from Little Greene, carefully chosen by our client Sue, for a timeless, elegant look. The painting was completed by our recommended decorator, whose attention to detail helped achieve a flawless finish throughout.
Each piece was then completed with Kilburn Polished Nickel handles and matching plug sockets from Corston, a brand we love to use for their quality and refined finish. Their hardware helped tie the whole project together beautifully.
That connection with Corston became even more special through this project. We’ve used their hardware on many builds over the years, so being invited to collaborate and share the Norbury Road project on their social media platforms was a proud moment. For a brand we respect so highly, it was an honour to be their first carpentry business partner and to showcase the craft behind each piece of furniture we created here.
It was a pleasure to work on this project from start to finish. Seeing the transformation unfold and how each room came together was incredibly rewarding. We’re already looking forward to returning for the next stage of furniture we’ve been asked to create.
