Why British Fires?
Having designed and installed many media walls and media units over the years, we've worked with a variety of electric fireplace brands. Time and time again, we find ourselves recommending British Fires.
For us, it's the combination of quality, contemporary styling and the wide range of sizes that sets them apart. The choice of sizes gives us greater flexibility when designing your media wall, helping us achieve the right proportions for each project, while the clean, modern design complements both contemporary media walls and bespoke media units beautifully.
And, of course, the realistic flame effects create a stunning focal point once everything is complete.

What size British Fires fireplace should I choose?
Choosing the right British Fires fireplace involves more than simply matching it to your TV size. The width of your wall, the proportions of your room and whether you prefer a front-facing, corner or three-sided fireplace all influence which model will work best within your space.
As a general guide, the British Fires New Forest 1600 is a popular choice for media walls featuring 55" and 65" televisions, creating a balanced, contemporary look.
However, every room is different, and getting the proportions right makes all the difference. As part of our bespoke media wall design process, we'll help you explore the available fireplace sizes and configurations to find the best fit for your television, your room and the overall design.
